Very natural and easy way to learn a language: I never thought I could learn a language by audio. However, Pimsleur proved me wrong. If you have 20 minutes a day, and ears, then you can do it. The courses they sell give you enough language to travel and do basic conversation comfortably and fluently. They also sell advanced lessons that are well worth the investment once you complete this first level.  I studied the Spanish lessons, and gave this set to several Latin friends. A good start to go on studying:  The pronunciation of the sentences is very clear, assertive, warm, and friendly. The sentences in Italian are followed by the sentences in English. The guidance to the right pronunciation is excellent. The course is interactive, there's some right pauses for telling in advance the English sentences after the Italian speaker, and then for repeating them. At the end of the course I realized that I've enriched by new words and expressions, and that I can speak English and read it too.That's a good start for me to go on studying. I bought this course because I have to study English by myself. I can't study in a class room because I'm hard of hearing. When I got the course and I saw that there's not a book with the written text of the sen-tences I was astounded. But then I tried to listen to the cassettes on my daily walk and I found out that I could identify all the words little by little, with the help of my hearing aid, a good dictionary, an English grammar book and my family.
